We are developers and server enthusiasts who got tired of biased VPS reviews. So we built a transparent, data-driven review system.
Our Mission
The VPS market is crowded. Dozens of providers, hundreds of plans, and most review sites rank them by affiliate commission — not quality. We have deployed production workloads, self-hosted apps, and run game servers on providers ranging from $5/mo budget VPS to enterprise cloud platforms.
We built VPS Lab HQ to give developers, self-hosters, and businesses a trustworthy resource for comparing VPS providers. Our reviews are based on real benchmarks, transparent scoring, and honest assessments.
Our 11-Criterion Weighted Scoring System
Every VPS provider is rated 0-10 on these criteria. Performance and Uptime carry 2x weight because they are what matter most for real-world usage:
Maximum score: 110 points. Weighted scoring ensures the most important factors have the biggest impact on rankings.
How We Test Providers
We combine multiple data sources to produce accurate, fair scores:

- •Uptime monitoring data from independent sources
- •Support ticket response time testing
- •Community feedback from Reddit, forums, and user reviews
- •Pricing analysis including hidden fees and renewal rates
